ExamPaths

Terms of Service

Last updated: September 5, 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and ExamPaths for use of the ExamPaths platform (the "service"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.

The service

ExamPaths is an online study platform for insurance licensing exam preparation. It includes study guides, practice quizzes and exams, flashcards, notes, and an AI tutor, covering insurance licensing exams across all 50 U.S. states and the District of Columbia.

You need an account to use most features. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for the activity that happens under your account.

Payments

Paid plans and their current prices are shown on the pricing page. All prices are in U.S. dollars and are processed through our payment provider, Stripe.

Monthly plans. A monthly subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel. You can cancel any time; you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for, and you will not be charged again.

One-time plans. A one-time payment gives you access to the purchased plan without a recurring charge.

Refund policy

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you can request a full refund within 7 days of purchase, provided you have completed less than 25% of the course content for your selected state and insurance line (measured by your study progress and quiz activity). To request a refund, use the "Report a problem" feature in Settings within the 7-day window. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method.

Refunds are limited to your most recent payment. Repeated purchases and refunds of the same plan may be declined.

Acceptable use

You agree to use ExamPaths lawfully and fairly. In particular:

keep your account for your own personal use and do not share your credentials or sell access to others; do not copy, scrape, bulk-download, or redistribute our study content, questions, or AI tutor output outside the service; do not attempt to reverse-engineer, interfere with, or overload the service, or bypass usage limits or access controls; and do not use the service for anything illegal.

We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms or that put the service or other users at risk.

A study aid, not a guarantee

ExamPaths is a study aid. Completing our courses does not guarantee that you will pass any licensing exam, and we make no promise or warranty about exam results. ExamPaths is not affiliated with or endorsed by any state insurance department, testing provider, or exam administrator. Exam requirements, outlines, and laws change — always confirm current requirements with your state's insurance department and testing provider, and treat our content as study material, not legal or professional advice.

Your content and ours

Notes, flashcard progress, and other items you create in ExamPaths are yours. The study guides, questions, and other platform content are owned by ExamPaths and are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use only while your account is active.

Changes and termination

We may update or change the service over time. If we make significant changes to these terms, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date above. You can stop using ExamPaths at any time by canceling any subscription and closing your account; these terms end when your account is closed.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, ExamPaths is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
